Say what you like about Launceston United, but at least it has a ground that is up to FFT's and NPL standard, lower scores and competitiveness seem optional :)
ReplyDeleteCity are fast become the next bridesmaid side looking good but never getting the main prize .
ReplyDeleteSince when ? First time they’ve finished in the top 3 for over two decades, the saying your using means finishing second every year.
DeleteGo back to school
Leave City alone. They have won heaps of trophies
DeleteThe leanest run the club has ever had without a trophy. City are a very successful and proud club. Good to see them coming back to again becoming a powerhouse in Tas football.
DeletePowerhouse? Back in the 90s we talking or ?
DeleteNo issue with throwing banter around but if you’re going to use a saying to have a go at least get the meaning of the saying right ffs
DeleteAnyone that thinks this isn't a successful year for Launceston City are idiots. Could have been better, absolutely - I think they've been the best team second half of the year. But second is by no means a failure.
ReplyDeletePeople are happy to see them fall short because of their arrogance and behaviour. Without a doubt they have improved but at the same time they have been crap for a long time. So shut up and keep working don’t build the hype when you haven’t won anything yet.
DeleteSecond is amazing. Well done City. You are the best club in the north
DeleteWhat and who hyped up anything ? Love to see some actual factual substance to this claim, far from an arrogant team too unless you’ve an instance where you can show proof for that ..?, definitely seems like you’ve got an issue with them though. Ask any team they’ve played if they are arrogant you’d soon get your answer.
DeleteAnon 10:04 PM - Don't be silly asking for factual substance in these threads mate, it doesn't exist!
DeleteCity continuing to live rent free in a few people’s heads
DeleteThe fact is that it’s another trophyless season for juve
Delete2nd are first losers unless you come 1st no other place really matters in hind sight
DeleteLet’s hope Riverside Olympic can get a point this week and make it and exciting final round .
ReplyDeleteUnited are worse then Knights 2015
ReplyDeleteYet there not last
Delete2 games to go and 54 less goals conceded vs 2015 Knights
DeleteHow many points have united had since being in the top division?
DeleteDear o dear United. It’s hilarious that they were saying this year they would cause some surprises. I didn’t realise that they were meaning that they would be even worse than the first 2 winless years.
ReplyDeleteHear there might be some fresh faces being signed for South to replace their current ones for the Australian Championship, I wonder how they’ll react to that?
ReplyDeleteYeah, great point. It is unbelievable South might contemplate this given it is unheard of for teams being promoted to a higher division to bring in new players. I can see Stan Sport signing you up to provide expert analysis alongside Bosnich and Foster.
DeletePlease explain how the team go promoted?
