  1. Riverside have finally won something. Clear winner of red cards again. Some serious culture issues at that club

    1. Anon at 6:42pm, I guess your comment about culture is based on the Riverside season as a whole, because today alone it would be baseless

Krusas first yellow looked like he said something to the ref, who had just made a terrible decision, in which the riverside player was heavily fouled (should have been a yellow to city).

His second yellow was a free kick, but not on the level of a card. (If that was a yellow there should have been another 5-10 yellow in that game).

Owusus card was a free kick, but the subsequent flop had more mayo than a KFC burger.

Even Berlese first half card was soft.

    2. I would say the culture comment based on riverside season as a whole as well as the one before. Appalling disciplinary record. No Playing system at all. .

    3. Poor riverside the refs must hate them - they would be title challengers if they got a fair go

    4. Krusa swore at the ref so definitely a yellow then late challenge from behind on Wilcox so I really can’t see what the above is complaining about,

Riverside have been Ill disciplined all season long in-fact for 3 seasons now that’s not a dig that’s just a fact.

  2. United might have finished below riverside but have had at least a better record in the discipline department. Great spending by riverside to get the United imports lol

  3. South : 1st as expected ‘b’
    City : 2nd better than expected ‘b’
    Lions : 3rd better than expected ‘b’
Port : 4th big fall from grace ‘d’
Knights : 5th lost lots of players ‘c’

Other five clubs not worth rating. I’ll Give them all an ‘e’

    1. Last two seasons. Two teams bought the double.

    2. Make it a level playing field and it may even out teams…. Teams spending 10’s of thousands upwards of 100k should be streets ahead of those clubs that simply can’t compete in the buying stakes. My mum could have coached Sth to a title this season!!

    3. Oh yep and Devonport never spent any money to win their doubles. They have an ex-a league goal keeper for how many seasons? Every team spends money and a decent amount too. Some just do better in recruitment and identify better imports, simple

    4. Or just buy import after import til they finally get lucky

    5. Dev spent big this season like the above says, 12 players in and finishing 4th is a poor season and extremely bad recruitment. Huge job forever who ever takes over Tom B next season.

    6. Tom B moving on? You must have close links to the inner sanctum? Maybe you are an expert? Please tell

    7. Common knowledge they’ve interviewed 2 coaches already,

One turned them down for another Tasmanian job ..

      Delete
    8. Can you please let us know who they have interviewed? Or once again, just words?

    9. Agreed port can’t afford to let Tom go. Look at his record - a great women’s coach. And yes I do consider myself an expert

  6. Thanks once again Walter for your coverage of the game. Good to see you at so many games this year - long may it continue !.
Some of the games were OK as well !.

  7. Boy people are so negative on here. Riverside improved - they were unlucky not to beat Knights, their combination play got better in patches. Just lacked a little quality in the final third. Clarence did better nearer the end of the season, good draw with Port. We should support football and wish for improvement across the board. Yes South had good players, but making them a team who play as one with great spirit is no mean feat. Devonport will be back. City a big threat next season under Syson. So much to love...

  8. Congratulations Keenan on ensuring he still scoring for Boro... even though he has left and joined Zebras!! : D

  9. Congrats to South and Max. I still think I could have coached that team to the premiership with zero experience

  10. Hess to take over at South?

  11. South east united promoted to NPL?

  12. Wouldn't even know he was at Clarence hasn't done a thing all year
