Glenorchy Knights… 5 games, 1 win… we ready to ask questions yet or do they get a pass because Sherman is still making excuses?
ReplyDeleteThey have a rank squad and that’s the bottom line
DeleteJust look at their squad ? Haven't seen the likes of Glover Hess for some time. It’s going to a rebuild after the shit show it was left in last season, takes time.
DeleteI think you are aloud to have a bad run here and there when you have a proven track record of winning games and winning trophys.
DeleteNot every coach can win all the time.
And not every coach in the league currently has won the league and won the statewide cup multiple times.
Knights will come right because james can actually coach.
This isn't 2025.
*6 games, 1 win LOL
DeleteWe just need to refine the pedagogy inside the methodology and things will turn.
DeleteIt’s the same squad Murphy had competing. The only real difference is that Murphy’s imports were stronger.
DeleteThe criticism from keyboard warriors played a role in him losing his job, yet those same voices were leaving before full-time last weekend.
People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Go you Reds
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to coaches corner and the excuses this week
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad life you have , if this is what you look forward to. Obviously he is living in your head lol.
DeleteHere is a thought, maybe join him, or the club, and see what goes on. Oh hang on , that might mean not being a keyboard warrior.
Have a great day.
Biggest disappointment for him was not winning the bag full of balls from football Central:)
DeleteWhat day do knights play south east in the laka cup drible says 25th and FT page says 26th
ReplyDeleteWith those stats I think it fair to ask questions - knights have spent some $$ they pay James well have three imports that he chose all under performing and some would say he’s playing several players out of position and his current system is not working
ReplyDeleteCan he fix it ? of course he can , will he ? That’s depends on him and how much time he is given
The club has some great kids who are stepping up when given the chance on ground leadership and some tough decisions will need to be made for a turn around
Relegation battle otherwise
The honest difference between what happened last year at glenorchy Knights and what's happening this year at glenorchy Knights comes down to one thing
ReplyDeleteTrack record
James sherman has a winning and proven track record in this state whether you like it or not
Unfortunately for o murchu
He has not won anything that anyone can find evidence on
He is doing a good job so far at zebras
But whether he can actually go on and win trophies at the club will be a diffrent question all together
Im happy to be wrong
But my guess in 5 years time is that murchu probably won't be in the state.
And will most likely leave with no silverware.
James sherman will build another championship contending side and thats only a matter of time in my opinion.
Class is permanent
Form temporary
Goodluck to both clubs in 2026
Hopefully Brian uses Franco previdis experience to its fullest.
ReplyDeleteFranco has won 2 first division titles in tassie football
And won 2 championship titles with knights also
So he could certainly help brian and Hopefully impart some winning mentality into zebs again.
O murchu certainly needs to win something eventually in my opinion
Otherwise just another name who couldn't provide the goods.
I hope im wrong though
Certainly doing ok so far in 2026
Lets hope one day he can compete for titles.
Knights now better then last year and with worse team they will finish above Clarence.
