I can remember when half a youth team went to Zebras back then. There's only one of those players still playing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3290088887405022587.post-28602525796097770892021-08-11T16:42:22.209+10:002021-08-11T16:42:22.209+10:002:30PM

Uni and Hobart United have been on top basically since Knights left and never sniffed 'promotion', both are working hard to get youth programs up and running but it takes years or money- For any Champ team it would only happen if another team with the NPL license dropped out or they really ticked all the boxes, like Knights. Eagles could always get youth because of all the schools nearby, but it hasn't really translated into results and keeping them -they've gone and recruited Huigsloot and co. on top of some others from previous seasons which has meant stronger resultsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3290088887405022587.post-29798311746685714772021-08-10T14:38:25.700+10:002021-08-10T14:38:25.700+10:00Pity no promotion next year .
