That is when the team regains the ball after the opposition has lost it. Neither team quickly ran into space to support the player on the ball as they were receiving it to open a viable passing lane.

The notable exception was a brilliant bit of play. Strikers' keeper Pitchford came out to the edge of his penalty box, made a difficult interception and launched the ball immediately with a pin point throw to the winger, Brodie Denehy, who received and ball carried into the Clabras half, with another neat pass to a teammate who nearly scored. It was a wonderful counter attack.

Strikers were the better team and deserved to win . At times they built up efficiently from the back. This is third game I've seen Clabras and they have been a massive disappointment.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3290088887405022587.post-49398579884801125462020-08-16T13:21:37.626+10:002020-08-16T13:21:37.626+10:00Simple mute your livestream if you don’t like what...Simple mute your livestream if you don’t like what you were hearing JL2https://www.blogger.com/profile/06553820610900478722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3290088887405022587.post-9205281144964929442020-08-15T23:54:11.396+10:002020-08-15T23:54:11.396+10:00Just watched the replay Walter and I’m with you, I...Just watched the replay Walter and I’m with you, I thought the two young Clarence boys Jones the keeper and Hatcher the little fella at the back were outstanding for their team .Talk about courage from a young keeper I’ve rarely seen anything like it before it was a gold star performance and with a bit more support would have kept a clean sheet , brilliant , As for the little back he just never let Bidwell into the game and Kudos to him as well ! A much improved effort from the cellar dwellers as both sides had to endure bad conditions.Tony Calderoninoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3290088887405022587.post-28278130849112338822020-08-15T23:33:08.161+10:002020-08-15T23:33:08.161+10:00The Championship results have made things interest...The Championship results have made things interesting. The young keeper was superb and actually thought Walshy played quite well in a more advanced role. While Devonport dominated the majority of the game, they don't seem to have the cutting edge at the moment. That could be a good sign for them, that if they do start clicking , they'll be unstoppable but a pretty poor performance. Some of the chances missed was school boy stuff... Barnard looks lost and is a shell from last season. Strikers play to him like he's a Braydon Mann type who can link in with the build up, pick a pass and create his own scoring chances, but Barnard needs balls in the air, in the box and on his head to be lethal. Denehey missing too many chances, Bidwell easily predictable. If their front 3 plays like that in games where they don't have many chances, they will lose games against the better sides. On the livestream you could clearly hear the coaches on the opposite side and the players (which i love).

The amount of F bombs though was unacceptable and under the laws of the game a couple of players and one coach should have been marched. Just mho. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
