Who is Walter Pless?

Has just completed 46 years as a football writer in Tasmania. Was the soccer writer for "The Mercury" in Hobart for 25 years. Has also written for "Soccer Action" (Melbourne), "Australian Soccer Weekly" (Sydney) and "World Soccer" (London). Currently the Tasmanian correspondent for "Goal!Weekly" in Melbourne. Played for Croatia-Glenorchy, Caledonians, Metro, Rapid and University. Coached University, Metro and Croatia-Glenorchy. Inducted into the Football Australia Hall of Fame on 12 November 2022.
