Wow their is one media site in the state that is very lions focused not impartial at all .
Zebras are the BEST team and have been for a number of
years to continuously lose to teams worse than them.
By a country mike.
Zebras didn't just lose to kingborough, they got smashed.
Kingborough keeper only had to make 1 safe, everything else was regulation stuff. While at the other end at least 2 posts, and zebras under constant pressure.
Anon 4.44 . I don't know about being smashed .Zebras should have won that game comfortably but
were very poor in front third.Having said that they created sufficient chances to win the game.As the game went on in the second half they deteriorated defensively which is why Kingborough won. Not because Kingborough smashed them.
Unfortunately people tend to remember the latter part of the game which was where Zebras were poorer than they were earlier.
Kingborough just humped the long everytime without making many consecutive passes.
They are very one dimensional and Zebras should have known this. It appears not.
8:52. Could you be anymore full of it,?
As a neutral the 1st half was as boring as bat s..., that did change. 2nd half was a great watch. Only difference was Lions leaked home goals etc while Zebras looked like under 6s in the 2nd half.
Phoenix I am a neutral also.
You just reiterated what I said. I the first half Zebras were poor in the front third
and should have scored a few if not for poor finishing or wrong decisions.
Kingborough created nothing and just hummed the ball long.
Hence a boring first half.
Second half full of mistakes and goals cane from these mistakes especially
Kingborough goals.
So a half full of mistakes and playing like six year olds is exciting for you ?
Some are easily pleased.
Come on lads! Who really cares it will be all over on Wednesday
10.57.
The sooner its over the better.
This year has been a farce with 10 teams going down to 9 and having a bye.
The No 9 team should not have even been there.
Hopefully common sense prevails and FFT make the right decision.
The womens league going from 8 teams to 6.
FFT announcing a State game the day after the last round and biggest presentation function for the game in the state. What a joke.
CCM must think we are a f....g joke ! It good for them yes but I cant see how FFT can force players to play. Its a nothing game .
12.50pm
Agree that the timing of the State game is less than ideal, but I reckon they had little say in when CCM where coming down. CCM say jump, FFT say how high.
Main concern should be the game v South Hobart at Lightwood Park on the Tuesday night - hearing that the surface there is in far from ideal condition and very sandy. Hate to see a professional player get injured because of it.
