  4. It was great to watch beachside play yesterday. They showed some great touch around the box and they scored some very good goals.

Sasm Hogwarts on the left was in top form, great technique, square shoulders, and scored a super goal from 1 yard.

  6. Interesting to read, but there is something missing. Where are the women's results?

If this site is covering Association Football, I think the fact that there is no coverage of women's football is a great shame!

Women's soccer is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia. Women's soccer has the highest participation rate of any sport in the USA.
Its time the girls were acknowledged and receive the recognition they deserve!

  7. Walter, did any of the womens' teams call you with their results? I'm suspecting no would be the answer.

  8. I never receive information from women's teams, hence the lack of coverage.

Last year, Stephen Pitchford, a member of the Women's Standing Committee, invited women's teams to submit team news to me so that I could write previews and yet I did not hear from anyone at all, despite some of them promising Stephen they would provide information. The same applied with match results.

So there, Soccer Mom. Perhaps you could start your own women's football blog.
