  3. guys that is no different to nearly the whole league going to olympia info night... will they actually sign??

Dawesy and Marney are mates with some of the boys so are probably just going for the food!!

  4. I wouldn't be too sure, I heard Dawes and Rhodesy had a falling out at the end of last year....

  5. If Dawes goes to Knights he won't play seniors straight away. They wouldn't start him over the likes of Smith, Koroma, Nowicki. They have all scored goals at Premier League level the last couple of years unlike Dawes.

If you think Dawes isn't of the same calibre of the boys you've named then your dreaming and clearly haven't saw him play, or played against him!

  7. I hear the Knights have an open Dawes policy as such I wouldn't be surprised if he got a start early Dawes. Rumour has it the committee and coaches would hate to see Dawes slammed shut on anyone looking to join the club.

    Boom boom ching.

And for those that have lived in Sydney; Dawes! Dawes! Dawes! More Dawes!

  8. Anonymous at 6:23. Aaron Marney to Knights, very funny. You obviously don't know the Little Champ like we do. Very loyal the Little Captain and then ask yourself why he would possibly want to go to the Knights ?

Now Chaffey, yep a distinct possibility.

  9. Armadu will be a centre midfielder in 2011, he only played upfront last season because Knights had no other strikers.

I agree with the other comments that div1 goals mean nothing compared to Premier League goals.

  10. Neither would get a game at Knights anyway. Reserves probably but definitely not senior material.

  11. Dawes and Marney would walk into the knights senior side, who is there to stop them?? Nowicki is nothing compared to dawes and knights only have clay on the wing. if u want to include the other wingers they have you need to wake up.

  12. Anonymous at 12.48. You obviously have a very inflated idea of how good the Knights were and what they are going to be left with.

There's a few Div 4 players around that I reckon the Knights should be going after at the moment.

  13. div 1 is a joke and players like akuel guot scored 40 goals in a season so says it all

nowicki would score 50 in that league and is better than dawes

    ReplyDelete
  14. Nowicki would score 50? have you seen dawes play to compare him to a ressie player at best? clearly not. when dawes dominates next year just have to say i told you so.

  15. After Dawes effort at Metro Awards night last night he can't leave quick enough.

  16. Sour grapes from Metro people that Dawes is leaving by the looks of this. Disgraceful really if he wants to have a crack at premier league why not let him? Metro`s not going to be up there any time soon.

  17. Anonymous at 5.40, I'm not sure you read my blog properly. Many people are happy to see him go and after his behaviour Saturday night have no intention of trying to hold him back.

I think your use of the word disgraceful has been incorrectly applied.

Good luck to the Knights !!

  18. Metro are the ones who will need luck to ever get back to the Premier League. Oh you've got Jayden Wiggins, you're fine. haha.

  19. obviously theres a real problem at metro with everyone who has been there then left especially over the last 10 years, such a shame on a club that had pretty decent facilites, a club i doubt will be back in the big time anytime soon

  20. The club is just a mess and always has been and always will be. To much politics in the club for it to ever improve

  21. Well after scoring 40 goals and (if rumour has it) finishing 7th in the B&F vote, i'd be pretty annoyed too.

    ReplyDelete
  22. B&F isnt given to someone who scores the goals, its given to someone who does all the little things and gives his all for the team all year has nothing to do with scoring goals. Thats why there is a Goal Scoring Award, its not rocket science.
