  1. Fantastic football by Barca but there antics over diving and trying to get players carded makes me annoyed watching it. The whole La Liga has this problem.

Sums it up quiet clearly when Ronaldo pushed Pep lightly in the body on the sideline to get the ball back and he goes holding his head like he has been punched by Ali.

    Still Barca slaughtered Madrid

    great result for "football"

I know what you're saying here Richard. But I think your wrong, Real have been playing some sublime football this season, scoring many goals whilst producing great flowing attacks. They've had an off game here whilst Barcelona have played to their potential against an opponent of Real's quality.

I think it's a great result for youth development and the benefits that come from producing one's own with one's own philosophy.

  3. Anon 1.45 I concur with your comments. but the big difference is also the real team are pragmatic by nature and with the leadership of the special one they have been able to "talk the talk but not walk the walk"
still it's a long season and although this result does not mean the league is done and dusted it puts a big dent in the renowned real ego.

Anon 11.58 I think that it is very hard to condone the theatrics of this fixture but it helps to read about the history and politics of this clash and you can understand it is not a normal game.
emotions are usually raw and at boiling point and the spanish media loves to stir the pot in the build up.
    still great sporting theatre.

  4. to be honest who didnt see this coming, real are a great attacking team but there defence have been dodgy all season, even when they won 5-1 last weekend the opposition missed 3 1 on 1s, barca are a much better team

  6. Real have been a fantastic team this year, I will be shocked if they don't try and attack next time they meet in Madrid.
