  1. FT need to do something about Devonport players surrounding the ref whenever things don’t go their way. ( which isn’t very often)

    1. Just watched the game on npl tv and didn’t see a single instance of this

  2. They are bullying refs and intimidating visiting team over there and it is definitely working for them.

  3. Walter, you mentioned in your article that the Knights had 34 shots. Sorry to be naive but is that 34 shots at goals? But scored 2. If so that’s pretty crazy I would think.

    2. Yep that's correct should have been 5 nil before Knights actually scored. 2nd half worse than first. Very frustrating to watch.

  4. Annon 9:29am... go rewatch this moment then as its one of many!
90min 10 seconds into extra time, there's a circle of 8 players surrounding the center referee. It's beyond ridiculous!
    Clear and obvious.
    Cheers.

    1. Thanks for that. I’d refer to that as getting behind the ball and forming a defensive wall, but we might have to agree to disagree on this one.

  5. Why did Devonport and Clarence stop for a drinks break at the 25 minute mark of the first half ? Is this something new for the NPL?

  6. OK so I watched and I saw 4 pobbly 5 players forming a wall at the top of the 18 yard box. It wasnt clear, obvious, or ridiculous. Any other examples?
