Always great to see Olympic down the Eagles. Great result after last week boys. For the worst player in the league it must be great to let the score sheet tell the story bulis.

I just watched the Eagles V Olympic. Eagles should have been 4 up beofre Olympic even had a shot on goal but to miss those chances including a penalty, it has cost them. Their 2nd half was a joke. Couldn't pass the ball more than 5 yards. They made Olympic look a million bucks. Olympic also won the Bogan Supporters award with the way they were carring on. Their bench also needs to take a look at it self in the way they carry on also. Well done to Dippa too. He played quite well and scored the first goal with Olympics first attack. Both teams seemed to be the opposit to their last outings

just shows how far the gap is between teams in this comp I honestly recon Zebra and Sth Reserves would finish in the top six of this league.....

thats why a state league should be introduced and then a north div 1 and south div 1 with promotion/relegation system

Collin's goal was goal of the year! Shane was horrible, where is his speed??

thats the way the game goes RUSR...
and by the way the only bogan supporter of the night was the muppet who shouted out to one of the eagles defenders to 'break dippas' f@#$ing knee cap'..
great sportsmanship???
is there anything else that olympic can be criticised for???

Well said Chris Tsakiris,

Eagle_lover, why are you commenting on the goal you scored? It was a rushie.

Goodluck Peter Tsakiris for the appeal. Hope to see you playing this week. Oh and one more thing for all you people against Peter.

Trivia Question; If Russia was playing Italy, would Kim Barker send both sides off for speaking there own language?

jerrie kruijver said...

russia and italy would be to busy playing the game, they dont have time to backchat

jerrie kruijver, Im sure all teams just play the game but, Peter was speaking to his own team. You need to get your facts right before you assume he was back chatting (just like Kim Barker).

Stick your gripping something to hard - since both reserve teams have lost to lower opposition your theory doesnt wash. last nights game wasnt a classic but that life.
Set low standards and fail to achieve them isnt that the FFT motto?
ET "people against Peter" what are you on ? PT is one of the best players around and an asset to his club. Can come to eagles any day (did that sound like someone poaching? beter leave that to Souths)
As for your trivia question both mafias would have tried to bribe KB but hes above that (said with a straight face and in jest).

For all that carried on about saying things behind an alias last week ( Nester ) As promised I ran into Bully last night and happily told him it was me that called him a mascot. We had a good chat and all was and is well . Some people take things far to seriously .

its funny reading these teams bag each other. i mean some of the supporters just arent good at all the bag there own players alot atleast thats what i have gathered.

bulis' goal was good but goal of the season i dunno... wait and see
btw collin's goal was crap a tap in , but maybe the eagle supporter was being sarcastic lol

As for the eagle lover shane kent has i swear never been fast or any good.

and the trivia question is simple :) id wuld happily pay to see kim barker ref that game lol plus i think the olympic guys are blowing it out of proportion he made a mistake by assuming something , how many times do refs assume something in a game ??

Btw why is benny whitehall not playing seniors ??

Eagles in danger of letting their season get away from them. Should have won two of last three games to stay in touch for a top four spot. Would be a great improvement on last few years.
Friday nights game against Olympic showed the gulf in skills across team.Great work rate by Wass and Malakoff not matched by rest of team. Malakoff also showed good skills and technic. Poor first touch, unintelligent play and generally lumping the ball to nowhere made Olympic look great.
Will need to pull it together with three tough games ahead.

krauser, yes referees do make mistakes... But to those silly mistakes Peter Tsakiris will now miss 3 important games. I agree with you on referees making mistakes but honestly the refering in Tasmania is a disgrace. I think fft need to hand out rule books to every soccer club in Tasmania.

Emmanuel, Regardless if Kim was correct or incorrect it is irrelevant now.
Do yourself and your club a favour and stop bagging referees so publicly.Im sure this is more sensitive than usual given family connections but other than make yourself feel better for 5 minutes by venting it just makes things so much worse. Work with them not against.
I would say 95% of people/referees involved here at senior level read this site and fair to say that majority especially now believe the Olympic club while being skillful and talented are a bunch of whingers and whatever the situation will only make excuses.
Critisicm of referees comes back to bite which is probably what happened to Peter given past years history and the recent Clarence match.
One of Kim's strengths and what undoubtedly separates him from the rest is he knows the players and their habits and manages them very well. Over the years Peter probably has had Kim as referee for 25% of his game so he knows how Peter reacts to certain situations and he does have a reputation for backchatting in whatever language even if he may not have been on that situation. Could imagine at 4nil down so early on frustration level would have been high.
Maybe the Olympic board and coaches could lead from the front and instill some discipline by suspending players for going off at referees. It may cost a game or two but who cares if it changes the culture of a club. Ever since ive been around Olympic has had that stigma attached.
I know some clubs are doing this with great effect even at the cost of results here and there.Interesting to know what the penalty/red card for and against count would have been at Olympic over the past 15 years?
Great to see players like Bulis and Nester so fired up looking at the youtube footage, pity it takes comments on a Blog to bring this passion out.
There is no doubt Nester on his day is probably top 3 going around but he is prone to more errors than most and for his size probably should dominate in the air more and around his box.
Didnt see the game but based on You tube footage Eagles would be kicking themselves not winning that one. Not trying to take Bulis' glory away but could the keeper have done better?
