Kurt Reynolds at helm of Launceston City

Launceston City have scored a major coup with the appointment of former Young Socceroos captain Kurt Reynolds as their coach for the next two years.

Reynolds last played for Launceston City in 1984 before making a name for himself with the Young Socceroos and in the NSL.

He has been working in the Middle East for the past seven years and holds Asian Football Confederation coaching licences.

Reynolds takes over from Peter Savill, himself a former Leeds United player.

wow that is a massive coup.
I rememeber as a young kid watching him play in the green and gold and also at old NSL level.
if i'm correct he actually was captain of u21 oz team in the late 80's.

He will bring undoubted experience and know how to the state.

if i was a youngster looking for a club i know where i'd be headed.
Maybe just what city need to return to the top!

Great news for city and for Tassie football, I arrived at the club just after Kurt left for the AIS so i didnt get to see him play but they all said he would go on and do well.

And all the best to Peter Saville.
