The funeral was held in Hobart on Tuesday of one of the most talented young footballers in Tasmania.
Alex Bellini, 28, passed away late last month.
He was born in Florence, Italy, and came to Australia as a two-year-old.
Football was a passion for him from an early age.
His father, Alex Snr, wanted him to be a Fiorentina fan, but Alex Jr opted for Arsenal.
Bellini was an outstanding midfielder for Glenorchy Knights.
Injuries, including a knee problem, limited his appearances for the club in the past couple of years.

He was back in training and Glenorchy Knights coach, Brian Murphy, had plans to have him back playing in June.
Bellini began his career with Olympia Warriors but had been with Glenorchy Knights for the past decade, where he won four league titles and one State-wide Cup (Lakoseljac Cup).
He was a university graduate and was also engaged in post-graduate studies.

He was also interested in writing and dabbled in that in his spare time.
Alex was a highly skilled left-footed midfielder who could score and make goals.
His close technical skills enabled him to mesmerize opponents with seeming ease and either score or create goals for team-mates.
Alex leaves behind a partner and two young children.
His loss is a big blow to Glenorchy Knights and to Tasmanian football.
