Knights where woefully inept against Kingborough. Without Mierns and Schmidt their midfield was virtually non existent which allowed Borough to walk through Knights defence at times. The first goal, take some time to watch the replay, their are five midfield or defenders around the ball carrier not a challenge to be seen, yards or space and a lovely ball over the top with a superb finish. Like a training drill really. The knights have got a serious lack of depth, no proper finishing forward and it appears no one with any serious intention of playing hard football. That is the big difference with Devonport every one of the players on the park has serious ability in a challenge, the Knights im afraid do not, a lot of very soft players, won't win anything until they harden up. Pretty football does not win enough games.

I watched the steam knowing who was 2nd and 4th . For anyone that didn't you would have thought the Lions were higher on the ladder.
