Ok, I'm not a fan of Corey's - I wouldn't know him if I fell over him in the street - but I think some of the stuff being said about him and other players is a bit over the top. If all you can dish out is abuse, don't contribute. It's not constructive, and all it does is reduce football in Tasmania to petty arguments. Is that really what we want? Just because Walter doesn't regulate as strictly as Blackjack did is no excuse to open fire. Describe Corey's behaviour or something, but calling him a wanker isn't going to help.

And don't tell me not to read the blog if I can't hack it - that's not the point. It doesn't offend me, it's just disappointing to read abuse when we could be discussing football in the interest of our game in this state. I know it's only a small number of people that offer abuse, but come on guys, grow up.

I noticed James Hope's fitness level is still not up to standard. looked as if he was struggling to breath during the second half. Has he been attending training? could explain his level of fitness and why he isn't achieveing a start and or full games.

I reckon the Knights really deserved their win last (k)night. Though as Walter said, Zebras had an off night & did play some terrific football here & there, the Knights backed each other with some desperate defending and hung in there with ten men admirably. Old Smithers is worth the price of a ticket any time, he always looked dangerous and I loved his celebration on scoring. He's an enthusiastic lad. I don't think he means to cripple anyone. Are his indiscretions simply a result of some kinda cranial blood flood? Josh Fielding, for mine, was one of Knights best. His through balls were often deadly, he tackles well, got the better of Brett Pullen overall and nicked the ball off Ricky Self a couple of times, once to set up a great goal. He has a knack at retaining possession, a great player when he's motivated. It looks like young Amadu has finally found form, and he is blisteringly quick, kept his head to round the keeper really well. I've said before that Zebras defense is a bit ordinary, and leaking 2 goals against ten men, albeit ten determined men, is a bit that way, "chasing the game" or not. I do applaud their attacking style, they have the talented players to do it and do it well, mostly, but it does leave their defenders with a lot of responsibility one on one and they do get skun and leave themselves very square. Not a good idea against one kiddie with genuine pace. I'd rather watch that type of football, as that's what we come to watch and the philosophy of scoring more than your opponent seems to be working for them, except for last night. The lads from Glenorchy did play well enough as a unit to thoroughly deserve the win. Onya Knights for making a contest of it!

Great results from the Knights last night and also from one supporter from zebras behind the goals. We will refer to him as Moman angriness. How embarressing, grown adult looking for a fight over nothing, he is my hero. Apparently he thought everyone was at the tennis and you arent allowed to cheer or yell all that much. Great game from Armadu, really stood up when Corey was sent off, put alot of pressure on the Zebras defence and they couldnt handle it. Fitness machine! Unlucky sending off by Corey, nothing bad in it really, was just showing a bit of heart and passion. Well done again to knights, in form team of the Comp at the moment!!!

Nights must be pleased with their win they had the better defence on the night. With the two best strikers in the league at present the young side will be hard to run over in the last part of the season. Corey is a must to have in the side with his hard work up front and at times has let the side down but their is no need for Zebs supporters with their terrible foul comments near their dug out and on the coaches line. they are really bad losers. We all know that Kim does not like Corey and with a few early fouls the second yellow was bound to come but Kim get over your Bias towards teams and Ref with two white eyes!!
