I did not see one ken Morton prodigy in the Aussie squad! What is going on....
expecting Mesut Oezil (werder bremen) to be a rising star at this world cup. maybe too young but loads of talent.
According to an article written by Pim Verbeek himself in today's Herald Sun ( http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/make-me-change-my-mind-tommy/story-e6frf9if-1225865284592 )
"I have already told James Holland - and will tell Tommy Oar - that, all things being equal, they won't go.
But we have injuries, especially to players who can play left wing as Tommy does, and you never know what will happen, so they must train as if every day is their last, and see where it takes them.
"
There's also an article at TWG ( http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/socceroos/news/999052/McDonald-faces-World-Cup-axe ) based on inside "sources" claiming McDonald, Carle, Lowry, North, Holland and Oar will also fail to make the cut for the final 23!
I expected a TIS tam to be entered.
And you won't get reps from the TIS squad in any National teams, or for that matter a "Ken Morton prodigy" whilst we maintain those hick town head up our ass attitudes. You get out of something what you put in. Expect mediocrity and that is what you will achieve.............
