Zebras squandered two glorious chances in the opening minutes. Had they converted these, they would probably
have won.
First,
a poor square pass at the back by Darci Quinn let Lily Hulton in on goal, but
she inexplicably delayed her shot and finally fired high and wide.
Second,
Zoe Nichols fired wide when she would normally have scored with her eyes
closed.
Zebras
had another chance after that, but Olympia keeper Jenna Farrow turned the lob
against the crossbar.

Having
let the Warriors off the hook, the game became the Maddie Chambers show, with
Bonnie Davies the major figure in the supporting cast.
Chambers
opened Olympia’s account when she was put through on goal on the left by Davies
and rounded Zebras keeper Shelley Cook to score.
In
the 36th minute, Cook fumbled a shot from Davies from wide on the right
and Chambers was on hand to knock in the loose ball from close range to make it
2-0.

Surprising result for mine. Poor defending on show including some odd communication at times. Pity one of the better players only coming on in the second half.
