On the final day of the Under-13 Veto tournament in Newcastle, New South Wales yesterday, Northern NSW Metropolitan beat FFT North-West 6-0.
FFT South drew 1-1 with Northern NSW Country and the Tasmanians won the penalty shoot-out 6-5.
FFT South finished in 6th place with 8 points, while FFT North-West came 7th in the 8-team competition with 3 points.
In the play-off for 7th and 8th place, Alice Springs downed FFT North-West 2-0.
In the play-off for 5th and 6th, Newcastle Select XI overcame FFT South 2-1.
