Lakoseljac Cup and State-wide Cup semi-final draw

The draw for the Lakoseljac Cup semi-finals was conducted at Football Tasmania headquarters on Wednesday.

The draw is (home team named first):

Hobart United v South Hobart (Pontville)

Devonport Strikers v Clarence Zebras (Valley Road)

These sides are no strangers to each other in cup competitions.

Hobart United hosted South Hobart at Pontville in the Lakoseljac Cup in April 2019.

Hobart United led 1-0 at half-time but South Hobart ran out 3-1 winners.

Devonport Strikers entertained Clarence Zebras in the cup in April last year and the Strikers won 6-0.

Nothing can be read into these results, of course, so anything could happen this time around.

The semi-final draw for the Women’s State-wide Cup is:

Kingborough Lions United v Launceston United (Lightwood Park or KGV Park)

Devonport Strikers v South Hobart (Valley Road)

The draw for the semi-finals of the men’s Under-21 State-wide Cup is:

Riverside Olympia v Devonport Strikers (Windsor Park)

Launceston City v South East United (Buckby Motors Park)
