I notice femals assistants have been used for some of these games. In the Matildas games vs Germany on Saturday they had 3 female officials. If females are good enough to ref internationals then why aren't they reffing A League or EPL games. If they're not good enough then why do the Matildas have to put up with substandard officials for their games. Women reffing women for who's sake??

there is actually a few female assistant referees in the a-league

isn't it funny how in the big leagues such as serie a players can wear skins etc but they can't wear them in our amateur league

Nani scoring the best goal of the season :D

Nani's goal was outstanding! why did Newcastle play in port Mc? is it still ground condition? double header idea failed on a number of checkpoints also!

THE LOCAL GAME

Yes it was ground condition after some goose decided a motorcross show could be run there --- result half a million dollar repair bill to ground and home games moved .
to roughly quote jets new scottish import if that happened in england someone would be in deep crap he was very bemused by it all .
hopefully he makes his debut in 1-2 weeks

New jets top man showing lots of innovation buses were provided free for jets supporters to attend game away and tickets to games only ten dollars for home games instead of the usual 20 odd bucks
i think kids get in free too

Jets new man Jeffers is English.

I always have to laugh when local refs make players take off skins and tuck in shirts/pull up socks and yet noone cares about it in the professional leagues

This is what happens with female officials :-)
