Shame that we never get to see a good old fashioned mudbath anymore - unless you travel to Port.

Why did FT not transfer the Women's game to KGV at 12 or after the NPl.
So this is what big clubs get for their buck, a cold shoulder. The women's game is at a knifes edge and does not need obstacle's like FT to just shove them out in the cold.
A very poor approach by a so called professional organisation.

Anonymous 11.31am, you are so right. Moving the women's game to KGV would have made for an excellent double-header and avoided the ridiculous situation of having to choose between the NPL game and the WSL game. All the teams are from the south, so there would have been no problem. If FT couldn't work that one out, there's just no hope for the game in Tassie.

Or maybe it was because unlike Darcy Street, Wentworth Park has lights, so that game can be caught up midweek rather than at a different time than had been scheduled for today which would impact player and referee availability.

It's very simple this is out of the Competition's Mangers league.

Too Right...word has it that Olympia offered Clabras the use of Warrior Park today and along with that offered to swap their later home game encounter back to Wentworth Park. Also offered to play at KGV but Clabras obviously a little to frightened to play at all today. FT didn't want to get involved in this at all. In my eyes seems to me that Clabras have in fact fortfeited as they are the ones refusing to play. Be interesting how they can reschedule in a shortened season. Maybe have to play the week after the Laka final in mid November. FT should have forced their hand and made them play as there are now probably a dozen catch up games due to ground closures around the South today

For once I hope George gives it to FT. It's disrespectful to the women's game and the players who could be playing in a double header.

Suggest Zebras women not wanting to give such a huge advantage to Olympia women - rather than any FT decision.

Some great conspiracy theories here but it w o uld not matter Olympia wont beat Clarence inthe next 5 years

I would suggest nothing to do with Zebras Women or immediate coaching staff but rather a club administration decision

Anon 12.09pm. "Frightened". Just go back and check out the recent results between the two clubs. CZ have nothing but respect for Olympia WSL, unlike yourself back to CZ.
