Nice pics as usual Walter, Thought this afternoon was excellent on many fronts. Can be better of course , but as a first off- hats off to all involved. Shame more didn't attend- maybe next time, but even with the modest, but good 5K, the atmosphere was pretty good- all things considered. Can imagine fully fledged Tassie women's and Mens A League teams- with this a as home base.
The quality of the women's football (especially compared to much over rated afl), is still yet to be fully recognized. Its a shame we don't have any involvement in the upcoming World Cup, but not surprising. And what a cracking goal we all saw in the men's game.
The pitch was superb. Oh to have a dedicated soccer ground like North Hobart oval.
