Ha ha ha ha ha. So Olympia are only 5 goals worse than the reigning premiers. Didn't expect that. Good crowd though. Unfortunately Hellas & the Victorian league is a lot higher than what many expected. I think we have a long way to go to get a competitive A-league team & if that is if we ever get one.

Was Kosta trying out for South Melbourne? he made some pretty decent tackles on his team mates!

Ha ha ha ha. Work on your maths mate!

Yeah right buddy that was Sth Melb's first team, not the kids that played Olympic the other night. I dread to think what'd happen if that mob played Olympic. South Hobart sloppy at the back today and not effective in midfield, perhaps 4-3-3 not the best shape to play under the circumstances.. the Hellas boys too big, fast & skillful.

anon 9.38pm, r u for real? did u watch olympia vs sth melb?! Olympia played the sth melb babies team, sth hobart played the sth melb MENS team. If u think olympia and sth hobart are even on the same planet then u need to be put down. Obviously sth melb were better than sth hobart - its thre job.

What did you think of the curtainraiser match Walter ?

South not as strong as last year. Weak points in the holding midfield and left full back roles.
McKenna looked sharp after a couple of years out.

You cant really compare South to last year when they played opponents that are miles above anything that SPL can offer.Once the season begins and they play the Knights,Olympia Clarence etc , them you can compare. Any side who played Hellas yesterday would have been made to look second rate. Some third ,fourth, fifth rate etc.

9 nill - 5 nill, difference is 4 but for olympic to win it would be 5.
