Hi Walter
The Uni v South Hobart score in Champs was Uni 2 SH 4. Score on Dribl incorrect.

An unreal WSL match at Darcy St between South & Glenorchy today. Hats off to Ivica Bolonja and the playing group at Glenorchy. For such a young group (I noticed quite a few names mentioned in the state u15 team who start for the WSL team) they play with such spirit and tactical discipline. A very unjust way to lose that game is that it happened at the death. Some tremendous acts of sportsmanship on show as well and Glenorchy's travelling support creates an atmosphere like no other.

Final comment for my beloved South Hobart WSL team. I haven't been able to wipe the biggest grin off my face since the final whistle. Such resilience and desperation until the end! I could have kicked the main grandstand at Darcy St into Fern Tree when the winner went in, I was so excited. An exceptionally competitive and quality match and in the face of such injury adversity, currently. Madison Chambers is such a big inclusion for the final sprint to the end of the season, she is such an incredible talent. Again, I do wonder about the anonymous haters of the standard of the WSL on this blog. What league are you watching?!

Big shout out to our star striker Josephine, I sincerely hope you're alright. I felt on the edge of tears when you went down.

Watching live , think VAR may have seen this challenge on the James Cook Eagles Gk differently especially as the Dutch goal this morning was disallowed for interference 😀 good challenge for the ball but he was hammered mid air . Good game to watch , much bertter than the live stream games.

I humbly disagree. Their were two absolute drumming shorelines in the other two games.

another win for the biggest club in the state. BOROUGH are coming for the title

Whoever this troll is that’s pretending to be a Boro fan, must have a pretty miserable life.

Mate how long have you been around the game, the quality has dropped of every year since the inception of the Super League.
The best players not travelling so going back to champs or leaving game for AFL.
Ten years ago youth girls teams in under 13 to under 16 ,some of those age groups split into two divisions.
We also had the TIS producing some great players ,where players received training from from some great coaches.
So how about you just stay stum as you are annoying.

I don't think Richard Holland has watched any women's football outside of Tasmania LOL. The standard in Tasmania at the moment is deplorable. None of these teams would be competitive against WNPL teams in other states. They might score a goal or two in the State League 2 division, but even that is debatable. The WSL is a joke!

Your support of the Women's game is fantastic to see Richard, but the standard has quite clearly declined significantly from the first couple of years of the WSL. Those Zebras and Warriors teams would absolutely smash any of the sides playing this year.

To put things further into perspective, my son played in a Zebras U14 team when that all conquering womens Zebras team were at their absolute peak, they played them one night in a practice match and the young boys beat them 7-0 which did not go down well!

Gee is your son still playing, does it really matter ,the teams now would probably be beaten by more again
