Clarence Zebras and Olympia Warriors, as expected, won their semi-finals of the Women’s State-wide Cup and will meet in Saturday’s final at KGV Park.
Clarence Zebras were too strong for Kingborough Lions United and ran out 3-0 winners.
Olympia Warriors overpowered a spirited but out-gunned South Hobart side 6-0 on Sunday at Warrior Park.
It took Clarence Zebras until the third minute of stoppage time at the end of the first half to take the lead against the Lions.

The goal came from a disastrous error. Lions goalkeeper Erika McIntosh sent her goal-kick straight to Allie Berry near the edge of the penalty area and Berry took a few steps forward before lobbing the ball over the keeper and into the net.
Midway through the second half, Clarence Zebras increased their lead when Danielle Kannegiesser volleyed home a corner from the right by Isabella Ferrier. Goalkeeper Olivia Gardner,w ho had replaced McIntosh, stood no chance of saving.
Three minutes later, Berry added her second of the match to make it 3-0. A throw-in on the left was followed by a cross into the penalty area and when the defence failed to clear, Berry fired home.

Alyssa Bowden also hit the woodwork with a long-range effort for Clarence Zebras.
Laura Davis was the Lions’ most dangerous forward, but she was unable to reduce the arrears as she ploughed a lone furrow in attack.
Olympia Warriors took an early lead against South Hobart when Mia Cane found the net after just 2 minutes.
Speedster Bonnie Davies scored twice in the opening half to make it 3-0 for the Warriors at half-time.

Davies scored two more before the hour was up to take her persona; tally to four and give Olympia a 5-0 lead.
Mia Cane netted a penalty in the 62nd minute to complete an easy 6-0 win and earn the Warriors a place in Saturday’s final.
Glenorchy Knights and Olympia Warriors will contest the Men’s Under-20 State-wide Cup Final on Saturday after both sides travelled north for their semi-finals.
Glenorchy Knights came back from a goal down to beat Somerset 5-2, while Olympia Warriors accounted for Riverside Olympic 2-1.
