Great to see Jarrod Berry back in action after a few years off. Will never forget the day he dominated set pecies at POW

"An inability to finish easy chances is becoming a characteristic of all the NPL teams".
Pretty harsh statement Walter but I think true.
Is this a product of the "fantastic" coaching courses we have all done that does not have any emphasis on any practical skills , just theory ?
Too many players today cannot even head a ball properly , if at all. They prefer to avoid it if possible.
Good strikers don't necessarily need to be quick . They need to understand where to run to and spaces to occupy in order to be a danger to the opposition.
Many today are good athletes , quick , strong but their positioning and knowing where to run to and when is non existent.
The only striker in the league at the moment who seems to have the above qualities is Josh Divin from South Hobart. He looks and moves like more like a striker than any other striker in the league. He also brings other players into the game.
