These two Statewide Cup Final reports are very late, and I apologise.
DRIBL still hasn’t got details of the Men’s Under-21 Statewide Cup Final, which was played last Saturday. I surrender.
What I can tell you is that Devonport Strikers beat South East United 4-0.
Jordan Payne hit a hat-trick for Devonport after Baxter Tu had given the Strikers an early lead.
Reaching the final was a huge achievement for South East United.
They had their chances, but poor finishing meant they were unable to score.
As it turned out, Devonport had a great day winning both the Under-21 Statewide Cup Final and the Lakoseljac Cup.

Monday’s Girls’ Under 17 Statewide Cup Final saw South Hobart triumph 3-1 over Launceston City.
Avara Donovan gave South Hobart an 8th minute lead.
She should have made it 2-0 a minute later, but fired wide.
In the 13th minute, Isla O’Connor scored to make it 2-0 for South Hobart.
O’Connor completed her brace by netting South Hobart’s third goal in the 64th minute and that killed off any chance Launceston City may have had of getting back into the game.
Launceston City did manage a consolation goal, however, Samira Mirzaei scoring the very last minute of the match.
It was a good Monday for South Hobart as they went on to also win the Women’s Statewide Cup later that day with a 2-0 win over Launceston United.
