I don't think Dillon scored a goal Walter

What an absolute disgraceful display last night on the sideline .So the knights are awarded a free kick when they are 2-1 down on the edge of the box when Sherman wakes the whole Glenorchy Municipality screaming at the top of his lungs and jumping up and down at the linesman to talk to the Ref and award a penalty .Well the linesman is 30 metres away and yells back at him “Ok Im Going to talk to him Now “ and hey presto the Referee changes it and awards a Penalty to tie the score . There was no hiding it at all the grandstand could hear it as I’m sure Walter did as well being 10 feet away ( I’m not expecting you to confirm it Walter as you as a journalist have to walk a fine line ) .Just totally blatant and the linesman should never be allowed to officiate at an NPL game ever again if he can be talked into something that easy

It was quite clearly in the box though? So the right decision was made, which is surely what really matters. Would much rather that happen than the Ref sticking with an incorrect call just because it was how he initially blew it.

the correct decision was mate though, good on the linesman for correcting the decision

Penalty every day of the week.

Awwww didums poor clarence and how unfair everything is for them. Grow up!

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from Zebs supporters on the sidelines, calling for their players to go in Studs up. What mentality do you have to call for opposing players to be deliberately injured. The club needs to take sanctions against them. They had already had a player sent off for foul play.

Ahh yes because calling Kyle Vincent Every name under the sun once he scored was any better...

Strange you must comment on sideline behaviour when your coach early in the season was heard by dozens of people screaming at half time to take a player out! If you go back through Walter’s blog you will find a lot of comments from spectators who over heard him. And how about your own members last night in the second half behind goal screaming just as much as CZ supporters. Joint effort I would think. Maybe both teams were copying Kingborough supporters lol.

Sanctions against the spectators? How about sanctions against your coach asking his players to take out players? And yes there is a recording!

Walter (or maybe Ben Smith), this season seems to be having more twists and turns than we are used to recently (I write this as Riverside have 15 minutes to hang on for). What is the lowest points total the NPL has been won by? Could this be the most competitive season (by that metric) after quite a few years of Devonport dominance?

1:37 such a pathetic comment from a pathetic individual

Lonny United are so so bad. They have no structure at all. . Can’t string 2 passes together. Just a long boot to clear defence. Lino walk away now to save what you have left.

To the few complaining about the chatter last night, both sides were known to each other and the comments I heard from the stands were made to acquaintances.
All apart of the game in my eyes, happens at all levels on and off the pitch. Good luck getting to the top level if you can’t handle a bit of lip on a Friday night at KGV. Go watch an afl game or a football game in Europe and see if you can handle 15 minutes in the stands.

I caught eyes after the game and laughs and hands were shaken with both spectators. Once again, all part of the game

The Zebras centre backs are woeful

Anonymous said...

Would agree with you there but what about the Knights centre backs in first half? Just as bad.

Watched all games for the round. CZ first goal, has to be goal of the round surely? What a cracker! Well done.

I guess when you look at Knights 16GA this season compared to Zebras 32GA, it tells the story whose CB pairing is superior.

Having said that, Calamatta was apart of the team with the best GA’s against and is still equal top of Clean Sheets for the season, but he got cut 🤷

2 assists to Vincent

I thought Hatcher had a great defensive game marking Dillon the other night he can get moving across the park quickly
