Instead of bagging out Launceston United, why don’t peoples accept that in the long term they will most likely be an asset to this League.they have good and improving facilities a good club culture,a respect from most competitors and possibly the funds to improve their list. I hope I’m right mainly because I hate negativity!

Will always take some time, they just have to build on the pitch now!

I love watching the live streams of the City games. Pitchford loves a comment to the ref. Syson asks Coad how many times? Answer 2

Anonymous said...

Even better was their attempt of a rip off Lions atmosphere set up with drums

Congrats to Riverside Olympic WSL coaching staff and players , first win of the season , best way to respond to last game

Lions > City

Anonymous said...

Lol. Didn’t know Juve have a jungle theme to the club. Next time you guys are down south, we can show your supporters how it’s done again

Anonymous said...

The standard of refereeing on display in both U21 and NPL at City yesterday was terrible!! No support, guidance or training for young referees is really starting to show

Anonymous said...

The individual in charge of ref development is doing the best he can. But that's the issue, he's not quite up to it. Pignata needs to find him some support.

Anonymous said...

How ironic. City complaining about the standard of refs

Thought Devonport player T.Last (#13) was lucky not to get a straight red card in the 94th minute against LC. Took a run up behind the LC player and took out his legs, nowhere near the ball. Terrible play.

Anonymous said...

Taylor Last doesn’t wear #13. If you are going to make accusations at least get your facts straight.

Anonymous said...

No wonder we can’t get refs. Listening to the online comments from city’s coach and assistant. Complain complain.

Anonymous said...

One swallow doesn’t make a summer. Let’s see what happens with them for the rest of the season

Anonymous said...

Does it matter they got the number wrong? Accusation was made and you know who they were talking about. Pointless comment

Bribie said...

apologies, #22 kicked the ball away for the yellow card, I was referring to the play moments before when #13 ran from behind to take out the LC player's legs.

Anonymous said...

As pointless as this reply

Anonymous said...

If you are going to attempt to name and shame a player for a so called red card tackle then you should at least use the correct name. It was not Last who took the tackle.

Bribie said...

I did acknowledge that with my apology. what more can I do ?

Look at the ladder and points since the coaching appointment which created divide. City have not improved

Anonymous said...

Still fail to see this so called divide you continue to bring up…..

806pm. I haven’t heard any compliments for that particular referee from any club. For a few seasons now.

Anonymous said...

Very true. Let’s hope that United don’t get to excited about one game (where they still lost again )in 2 seasons. Remove United and buying in SE United next year for a. Better comp.

Anonymous said...

I agree city are still mediocre

oh dear said...

can somebody please come and get these Devonport players that are still rolling around on the ground and screaming, Launceston city ground staff need to mow the pitch tomorrow.

Anonymous said...

Just watched that passage of play on 94th minute. . Disgraced from both dev players. That referee just shouldn’t do Devonport games. Well known fact for years.

Anonymous said...

Roll around and scream as much as they want celebrating a win. Play another 90 and city would still be goalless

Anonymous said...

As these are facts, can you please supppy them in written or visual form if you cannot write

Anonymous said...

The senior coaching appointment! Pretty simple

Anonymous said...

Everyone gets on Launceston back… yet what have the other 2 Launceston clubs done apart from making numbers up? Each year it’s the same 4 teams at the end fighting it out or in a position to.

Anonymous said...

I thought you’d be happy to keep them up there? I mean, you may get some success then

Anonymous said...

Just a troublemaker talking nonsense.

Anonymous said...

Have they improved over 2 years? Position wise on the ladder? No real difference between wins and loses? River have improved more.

Anonymous said...

River have improved off the back of a crapper team than them entering
