Go Devonport all the way

All eyes now on Mr Coad to see if he allocates himself another crucial Penvonport game

Anonymous said...

Go knights now and forever

Anonymous said...

Stratos should be doing the game next Saturday

Anonymous said...

Good to see your still salty and looking for excuses already.

Truth hurts

In the interests of a fair play, the old mate with the Penvonport issue needs to grow up and depart! Gees get over it. I’m annoyed with myself for responding to you!

Lions took no points ..and then there was two.., who meet on final day of season .. if tas football can't make more of this than it being just one game of four played simultaneously..well, last one out turn off the lights. Suggested Sunday but maybe Saturday evening is more practicable.
Not a supporter of either but the game deserves some special attention.

If they are switched on, Football Tas need to get in touch with every TV/radio/newspaper outlet in south and north-west on Monday to pump this title-deciding clash up during the week, along with flooding their own social media accounts. Leave the game at the current starting time of 2.30 - better chance of getting it on TV news bulletins that night.

Have you not seen Football Tasmania’s social media accounts?!?! You think they are capable of promoting a game of this magnitude accordingly?

In the interest of fair play the game deserves an official who is well respected and gets the big calls right. All genuine followers want that. The game needs the best referee. Simple.

Anonymous said...

Ah just had a look at it. Do they just run participation competitions now?

Anonymous said...

Knights have no chance from what I seen yesterday

To be fair, the changes to FT’s marketing recently seem to be positive. The content going on the different social media channel is a great step in the right condition. I’d be more worried about how this translates to the local papers that seem to have forgotten the sport exists

Anon 10:25 good luck finding one of those in Tasmania.

Anonymous said...

Yes they were lucky to get away with the 1st goal as it was blatantly offside but a win is a win and both sides had to play the conditions

Anonymous said...

So your a support of refs or a disgruntled and sour person haha

To be fair Clubs and Walter promote the game the best ,Football Tasmania has lacked for years in this area .

I am sure Walter and Tanner can promote the game to the level it deserve.

Just scoured the websites of the three main daily's to find a wrap of Saturday's action. You're in luck if you like Aussie rules!
Didn't Devonport's U21s and WSL teams wrap their leagues in recent weeks? Not even a mention in the Advocate.

Let’s hope the Croats give out free vuvuzela‘s on entry, deck the builders fencing with red white and blue and FFT find the coin to have a speaker and a microphone to announce the players onto the pitch

Mearns is clearly onside but clarence will always be the sad sob story

4.48 , I was there supporting the Knights you numpty, I just say it how it was whatever side it is , I suggest you cheer up and follow suit

Football Tasmania’s recent changes to their marketing may be an improvement, but importantly an improvement on something that had such a low base for starters.

It has a fair way to go to be at an acceptable level, and there’s absolutely no need for it to be sub-standard. They employee people for such roles and wouldn’t have any issues finding the right people in this space if they actually cared.

Hahahahaah of course you were cobber

Devonport to win the NPL next week. I am not a Devonport supporter

Anonymous said...

Devonport to win it with a dodgy penalty would be great

Anonymous said...

Why do you want them to win?

Anonymous said...

Croatia only have to draw to win the title

Anonymous said...

Wouldn't it be great to see some real input from FFT this week - promoting the title decider.

Make it a 4.30pm kick off to allow players from all grades to attend.

Anonymous said...

Who are Croatia? Aren’t they a country?

Come knights

Only 1 team to support , go Port !!
