Second-placed Glenorchy Knights can close the gap on NPL Tasmania leaders Devonport Strikers to just one point today.
Devonport are idle this weekend having played their Round 16 match earlier in the season, while the Knights are away to fifth-placed Launceston City.
City have been in good form at home and Knights’ task will not be easy.
A win will leave them just a point adrift of Devonport, whom they meet at Valley Road next weekend in what could be the title decider.
Third-placed South Hobart are all but out of the title race but they will be keen to keep their faint title hopes alive by beating second-last Olympia Warriors at South Hobart Oval at 2pm today.
They should win against Warriors, who are at the wrong end of the standings. It is an unusual sight to see Olympia second-last.
Bottom-side Riverside Olympic host sixth-ranked Clarence Zebras at Windsor Park and the home side are confident of a good showing despite recent poor results.
Clarence Zebras are better than their league position indicates and it would not surprise to see them come away with the 3 points.
