Congratulations on your championship.
Enjoy the moment
Well done
Congratulations Knights!
Thank you Walter for your great coverage over the season! To me the best team WON only 1 loss for the entire season. Thanks to James and his coaching staff the best players ever and always the committee, sponsors and supporters that made this year so special for the biggest club ever. BOOM
Karma caught up with Devonport. Lions another team that refused to be bullied and bitched at. Not a Knights supporter, but Shermo did a great job this year.
Week after week, our on-line friends have been saying that money can't buy a championship. Looks like we proved all of you wrong!
Devonport lost the title. Knights didn’t win it.
Player suspensions cost Devonport today.
Really.
Devonport lost the title because of a slow start to the season
Give credit to the knights and stop making excuses
Stupid comment. Devonport weren't good enough to win without resorting to tactics that led to suspensions. The Knights were. And they lost Walter and Nkoso.
So no depth in their squad to replace 2 players?
That's funny. It's just another way of saying that karma caught up with Devonport. They were allowed to get away with their style of play over and over by referees who rarely punished their on & off the ball nastiness. Just look at last week v Knights. Sooner or later it had to bite them. They are capable of playing decent football but got carried away with their own sense of entitlement to the title. Karma.

Lol....that is all.
On another note, fabulous coverage again this year Walter. Your match reports are something I look forward to reading each week. Articulate and very well written by a person that actually knows what they are talking about when it comes to football. Unlike some of the fluff pieces I have read recently on Tasmania's official football site. As a mainlander now I like to keep up with all things to do with Tassie football and I get to do that through you and Matthew Rhodes, even though his spelling etc. lacks he isn't afraid to approach the touchy subjects and I think the majority of his followers appreciate his stance to call FT out when every one else is too scared to upset the establishment. I sincerely hope FT sit back and take a look at why staff are leaving and why they aren't getting support from all the clubs when they can't support them. The place needs an overhaul, they need to be more transparent and it needs to be done before next season. Anyway thanks again for your excellent coverage this year.
Anon Sept 11 11.10pm if the Devonport players and coaches couldn't control their playing tactics and therefore attract yellow cards, more fool them. Self discipline some forward thinking might have helped them instead of their bull at a gate style of play. You are an ungracious fool with little knowledge of the game. Get back in your box until next season and you can start again until then wallow in your pit of loathing. Winners are grinners.
Good to see someone new win it this year and to have a competition which went down to the wire for a change. I have been a critic of FT for years and agree it needs overhauling. All my letters and emails to FT have gone unanswered which indicates the type of organization they are. Congratulations Glenorchy!
Once Football Tas decide to base themselves at , Lightwood the Strikers were gone anything the touch the turns to S$$$.
Well done the Knights - they showed genuine grit to hang in there when they could have dropped their bundle.
On the issue of FT etc. etc. Needs an overhaul for sure - has been so for some time of course - a new President for a start. It's little wonder many are cynical towards them when they won't even share their annual financial report with the footballing public.
Riverside beat Clarence at Clarence . Their only win of the season
Boy Clarence must be proud of that finish to their season.
Karma !!!!!!!!
6:59. You are an idiot. They clearly had enough depth to still win despite losing two attacking players.
Can you try again in English?
