NPL Round 4 tomorrow presents all teams with intriguing challenges and possibilities

South Hobart have a great chance to go top of the NPL Tasmania standings on Saturday.

South entertain fifth-placed Launceston United at South Hobart Oval and will start as strong favourites.

Launceston United have made a promising start to the season accumulating 4 points from a possible 9.

But, South Hobart are unbeaten so far and should be too strong for the visitors.

Current leaders Launceston City face a stern test at home against sixth-placed Devonport City.

Launceston City must win to retain top place on the standings so they certainly have an incentive.

Devonport City will be desperate to arrest their fall in the standings, so this should be a fascinating and tough encounter.

Kingborough Lions United and reigning champions Glenorchy Knights each have 6 points and they meet at Lightwood Park at 4.30pm.

Both sides have to convince their supporters that they are credible title challengers so both will be keen to win, but a draw is a distinct possibility.

Bottom-side Clarence Zebras will be desperate to beat second-last Riverside Olympic away at Windsor Park.

Going on their current form, this will be a huge ask for the southerners.

FT once again show how out of touch they are. Game of the round is Riverside v Clarence!!. 2 of the three wirst teams in the league.

Think you will find these games are pre set at the start of the season. Interesting to see if they’re shared equitably
