Metro awards night a huge success

Metro held their 2019 awards dinner at the Wrest Point Casino Show Room last night.

The function was very well attended and local radio personality David Wood was the emcee.

The award winners were invited on to the stage to receive the trophies or medals from club officials.

The following is a list of award winners:

League 3

MVP: Dean Parker  (18 pts)
Coach's Award: Dean Parker
Golden Boot: Dave Morrison  (7 goals)

League 4

MVP: Jimmy Brown  (29 pts)
Coach's Award: Seb Pasanen
Golden Boot & League 4 Top scorer: Sam Jacob  (21 goals)

MVP: Nick Turner and Travis Brooks  (23 pts)

I think there's a mistake with the Champ 3 Golden Boot winner 17 goals? probably 7
There was at least 4 tied on 11 in Champ 3 as top goal scorers.

Gasparin, Chaffey and Biggar have been stalwarts at that club. Unbelievable service. They've certainly ridden the highs and lows.
