Things are very tight at the top of the Men’s Southern Championship standings with three teams on 27 points and the fourth on 25.
Those top four teams are in action tonight [Friday] and each one will have to perform well if it is to break away from the pack.
Let’s just hope that the lights have been fixed at KGV Park so that Eagles don’t face the disappointment of another abandoned match.

The Women’s Super League title is all but decided so the weekend’s matches are a bit of an anticlimax.
That is, unless Ulverstone can cause a shock by beating the leaders away at Warrior Park tomorrow.
Poor University. Even if the di manage to beat second-last South Hobart, they cannot avoid the wooden spoon.
