Connor Lizotte, not Lazcano with Devonport's goal in the 84th minute.

Riverside are not NPL quality and should be relegated at season end They have no structure and are awful to watch. Cant string three passes together Most Southern Champ teams would beat them easily

As were Knights and Clarence not that long a go. Every club in history has had this type of form at one stage or another. Allow them to work and play themselves out of it.

Another case for promotion and relegation. You dont use the top league as a nursery to allow them to work and play themselves into it,that is what the lower leagues are for, there are a few championship teams that would give the bottom five of the npl a hell of a run for their money.Good performance and results deserve to rewarded and it is high time that conditions, requirements and obstacles created by senseless red tape are adjusted so that the quality of the football you play becomes the main requirement to join the top.

Let's not be too harsh on Olympic.. Devonport have been THE crack side of the competition over the last 2 years and they are just starting to hit the afterburner, goals-wise... they were playing much better than a lot of their single goal victories last term and right now, are reaping perhaps over-compensatory rewards for their quality. After all, they beat Croatia 4-0 the other day - does that put the Grove Rd outfit in a second-tier class as well?
If anyone can catch Devonport, should the Valley Roadsters goals dry up, it will be South. And, they just might. Maybe.
