Once again Port get the rub of the green. Quite a coincidence

Love the Top photo, just left laying on the ground like usual

Had to look for myself after seeing so many comments on social media re. Launcestons 32 min mark supposed goal. Bit of naievity maybe on my part but can someone with football sense explain to me, why this was not a goal?

Clarence lose again ,and their champs lose .
Can anyone explain what was the advantage of the merger.

June 26, 2022 at 5:58 PM -- because the assistant referee did not signal that the whole ball had crossed the goal line - presumably because he did not believe it had.

Finally a ref sends off a Devonport player for their violent behaviour. The assault on the Launceston goalkeeper after the penalty is the type of common practice from Devonport players that goes unpunished so often. Shame that the Launceston player got the red as well but he got sucked in by the persistent and consistent Devonport style of rugby.

Anonymous 552pm. Linesman was not up with play and that could be the only reason goal was not allowed. It was well and truly over the line. Also agree with earlier comment. Devonport Divers get the rub of the green yet again. And The red card Incident and what followed was needlessly initiated by Dev no9. He should get a nice long holiday for that. But the ref also managed to sent off a city player. City very hard done by and deserved a point. Devonport just keep getting the preferential treatment from referees for many years now

It's a common theme with a certain man in green

The Assistant Referee was up with play. Impossible for him to be level with the goal line when the shot was taken. Relying on his instant judgement after the ball hit the bar - always a chance that an AR cannot feel 100% certain to award a goal in such situations - roll on goal line technology!

If goal line technology works as well as NPL TV, then poor old Walter will need to put an assistant on to cope with 100-plus comments coming through in the aftermath.

Strikers will need to change their style of play for FFA cup! Otherwise red cards will be flying! Won’t get a win without their rugby style of play and without the green man on their side.
