Where have all the decent keepers gone?
The league has never been overly stocked with quality keepers but the NPL keeping stocks at the moment are appalling.
Miss the days of
Pitchy
Ferguson
Giantsopolous
McKenna (Fit or unfit)
Sean Lewis
The best keeper the last two seasons just went to Victoria.
There's an ex aleague keeper in Devonport aswell. He's conceded 3 goals in 10 games odd comment
He played 6 games (Credit to him) 5 years a go and now plays in Tasmania.
He has well and truely left that world behind.
Conceded 3 goals in 10 games is a good return but not highly comparable in the worst NPL in Australia.
1 keeper barely makes it good stocks.
Strikers aswell very poor in depth and quality

I wouldn't be worried too much about decent keepers to be honest.
I am more concerned with decent out-field players. That should be more of a concern than decent keepers. The NPL standard at the moment is appalling and improvement is a long long way away it seems.
