Penvenport awful referring display again
It’s almost like you can’t just kick people in the box anymore. Shocking.
Wouldn’t it be Penvonport?
City trying to be Strikers in all facets. Won’t work. City need an experienced coach
It will be interesting to see how the coaches manage the players this week. A split group after a key player leaving and a loss to their rival can’t be easy
I wouldn't underestimate the ability of the City coaching staff or the trajectory City are on as a club across all levels. Time will tell, Rome wasn't built in a day.
I wouldn't have thought a 2-0 loss at Valley Road isn't enough to ring alarm bells.
Are Austin yost and Nick naden not playing for knights this season?
I left at half time during the Zebras Lions match. The league has three decent teams week in week out that you can get interested in. Devonport, Knights and South.
How bad has the standard got?
Lions, an average side cut through Zebras like Swiss Cheese.
Only decent keeper week in, week out is Ports keeper. Half of the players if not more in this league wouldn't play senior football in any other era of the game.
I don't know how you turn up week in, week out Walter. You are my hero!
Rome was built in a day.
It just took me 6 days 2 work out the design lol
Austin Yost played his first minutes for Knights this season yesterday but was subbed off with a injured shoulder after half an hour. Haven't seen Nicholas Naden so not sure.
Yost played saturday
Apart from their U21 coach, who should be the senior coach, what credentials do they have? You’d think with the players they went out and chased they’d get a coach with experience and pedigree
Have to agree. The standard has dropped massively over the last 2-3 years
Have to agree. Refereeing was woeful. Not the first time this ref has not been up to it. No authority and influenced by home crowd at Penvonport
Anon April 2, 2023 at 8:44 PM -- and what is the senior win percentage of their U21 coach???
Imagine being the most dominant team in the state for the last 6 or so years.
Representing Tas on the national stage (and winning games at this level).
All whilst having to do the most travel...
And anonymous keyboard warriors think you've had a bit of referee luck. Bahahaha.
OmG PeVonPorT!!! So FunNy!! I am sure all the Dev NPL players are losing heaps of sleep over ya tall poppy opinions.
Anon April 3, 2023 at 9:18 AM
Alexander Gaetani had a 11.29% winning percentage in NPL Tasmania having won only 7/62 games for Riverside Olympic.
Haha agreed! Jealousy gets you nowhere! The fact that Launceston based players are happy to travel to Dev tells you everything. Maybe those players love taking penalties and that’s why they travel to play at Penvenport
What happened to Krusa at City? Bloke did everything for that club through its tough times and now departs?
Devonport have had it peachy for a while mate you cannot deny the refs favour them and as soon as they don't there are videos made and stuck up all over Facebook bashing the ref that did them foul
Knights aren't worth watching either.
Toot! toot!
Port triumphalism starting in round three this year.
Anon April 3, 2023 at 11:35 PM
if they were isolated incidences.. Maybe.
But they have absolutely dominated the league for 6 or so years.
The ref's can't influence it this much..
Would love to see whose had the most penalties in the last 6 years
I guess you can say they have had it peachy with everything they have won. Now tell me what City have won since the new State League started back up? I hear crickets

Penvonport
How many dives has each team carried out in their penalty box
Hey Anon April 4 11:02 PM.. Don't be stupid mate. Stop talking sense!
Love the stats Ben, thanks for this.
Do you happen to have a stat for Penalty per NPL game? Given Hobart Zebs and Rangers haven't been around, I feel they might challenge top spot.

No that won’t do sorry Ben, can we only have stats that support Devonport getting an easy run from the refs over the past 7 years please
Penalties awarded at home in the last 6 years hahah
Percentage of people on Walter’s blog clutching at straws desperately trying to find a statistic that supports their conspiracy theory?
50% Knights
20%South
30% The rest
