I really hope Jacob Huigsloot can recover from the awful concussion he received last weekend. Have heard that might be the end of his career especially at his age, disapointing if true. A real Lions legend

Disgraceful to see a state coach park the bus,not teaching his players anything.
Feel sorry for the players when they go to Nationals none will be recognised playing under that style of coach.
His management skills must be in question as well look how many players walk from the club with him as coach

OMG. What did you expect them to do with only 10 players? I thought they did a great job. The top of the ladder team should have been able to adjust how they play and find a way through. But they didn’t. The Champ girls that stepped up did an amazing job too. I think the result showed it was an excellent decision.

Hmmm. The 3 players in the WSL weren’t very nice anyway LOL.

Clarence Zebras made a mockery of the competition. FFT should remove them from the competition. The club has allowed numerous players walk from the club at the hands of one person. If it wasn't for him, the club would easily field 11 players along with a full bench and have a competitive reserves team.

What are you talking about?

So is that another forfeit in the champs for Clarence, what a sad state of affairs.

A mockery - How? They drew with the top side. Pretty good tactics in my opinion.

Check the roster before making comments mate

The Clarence WSL have every right and deserve to be in the competition, they have as much skill and potential as any other WSL team in the league. Not to mention, majority of them are 16/17 years old! Playing against much more matured players. Why would FFT pull them out because some people don’t agree with how the team is managed. On another note, not all get imports like some clubs 🤣

“Not all get imports like some clubs”…..check your NPL Squad

Anonymous said...

Oh dear this sounds like someone from Olympia who's still hurt FFT did the right thing.

Anonymous said...

Couldn't even field a full team in WSL what the hell is going on over there

You mat remember there was a squad once that was the NTCthey were just girls younger than the ones you are talking about they used to win everything.
Just shows how poorly coached the elite players are now

11.32am's post was about the CZ WSL side, why bring the NPL side into this feed?

Anon 10.50am
It has nothing to do with how the girls are coached now. You have made a comparison to the NTC. These girls were the best, handpicked from various clubs and trained various times a week in an elite program. They also didnt win everything. They played in a boys competition, and finished outside the top 4. The younger girls were the Skillerettes and then Junior NTC, and they played in the boys competition also. They also finished outside the top 4.

There was a big event happening on the weekend. Maybe some of the players preferred to go and watch the Semi final and final of the FIFA WOMENS WORLD CUP. Did you think of that? Yes, they couldn't field a full team on the weekend but, hey, they drew with the top side. Great result.

If at WC, club should of arranged to move the game like Kingborough and Taroona did.

Gee that's a smart idea. They tried to - was knocked back.

Anonymous said...

I said WSL, not NPL imports

Anonymous said...

They never went to club maybe that is why they were such great players.
Check your records they won heaps in women's comp in all contests

People still don't get it that young players not passing the centre line,is not great defending or great for the game in this world cup year.
Oldmate on his page praising Hey parents jumping to defend the game ,checked it on feed after reading page,it was a shocker

Wow! Sounds like sour grapes to me….bravo to Clarence Zebras for holding the top team to a draw. Proves you don’t need paid imports and big sponsorship dollars to win games. But apparently South Hobart don’t pay their players….laughable if you believe that! 😂 Well done Zebs! 💪

4th against 1st. 10 players against 11. Was a great result for the CZ ladies. You can call it a shocker all you like. I don’t value your opinion. Maybe you should have commented on “Old mates” post with your thoughts. Oh wait - then people would have known who you are.

Kind of pointless when you didn't put your name to it
