Lachie Burt has left Hobart Zebras and signed for Clarence United.
Burt’s
father, Warren Burt, is coach of Clarence United, who are struggling in this
season’s NPL Tasmania competition.
Clarence
are last, having played four games and losing all four and conceding 35 goals
in the process and scoring none.
Lachie
Burt is a promising midfielder and should strengthen the Clarence squad.
Warren
Burt left the Zebras coaching staff and took over as coach at the beginning of
the current season, where he replaced Alan Jablonski.
Lachie
Burt found it difficult to get a starting berth with Zebras’ senior side and
that is believed to have prompted his move.
Meanwhile,
former Zebras winger, Iskander Van Doorne, a Canadian import, is expected to
arrive back in Tasmania tomorrow [Thursday] and join South Hobart.

Have juventus lost their mind. I’m basing this on what’s been said here and on tassie football central but not being able to attract one of their best midfielders from last year back then letting a previous (nsw & qld?) state midfielder leave. Not sure who the coach is down there but I sense a thin squad by the end of the year and a dull club in 5 years time if this treatment keeps up.
Of course they will sign an import for short term fix. Original point remains

Seriously this club is a piece of work. ANd I am sure it is everyone else fault but their own they no women's program.
