Clarence Zebras will be without injured centre-back Ahn Byuntae
when they host South Hobart at Wentworth Park in an NPL Tasmania encounter
tomorrow.
Byuntae fractured his tibia in two places last Saturday
in the 1-0 win over Olympia Warriors.
The possible return of Luke Huigsloot would strengthen
Clarence Zebras immeasurably.
Matt Pace will also be back for Clarence Zebras after serving a one-match ban following his red card against Kingborough Lions United in the Lakoseljac Cup.
Matt Pace will also be back for Clarence Zebras after serving a one-match ban following his red card against Kingborough Lions United in the Lakoseljac Cup.
South Hobart should have former player Andy Brennan in
action after he finished his quarantine following his return from Victoria.
Brennan, 27, has played A-League football with the
Newcastle Jets and his last club was Hume City in Victoria.
South Hobart has ample strike power and Brennan will add
to that.
Glenorchy Knights will introduce striker Joffrey N’Koso
when they host Olympia Warriors at KGV Park.
N’Koso will come up against his former club and will be
keen to impress his new team-mates and supporters.
Olympia are likely to be without striker Jack Ryan, who
suffered an ankle injury against Clarence Zebras last weekend.
Olympia will miss midfielder Callum Brown after he was
sent off last weekend.
Adam McKeown, Kingborough Lions United’s new striker, may
well get off the mark against Riverside Olympic at Lightwood Park tomorrow.
The Lions got a first-up win against Glenorchy Knights last
weekend and will be keen to make it two wins from two outings.
In the remaining match of Round 2, Launceston City
entertain reigning champions Devonport City at Bucky Land Rover Park tomorrow.
Launceston City bundled Devonport out of the Lakoseljac
Cup at this venue two weeks ago, but this league encounter is going to be a
real test of their abilities.
The home side may be without goalkeeper Lachlan Clark,
who was injured last week in the 3-2 loss away to South Hobart. His replacement will be Daniel Nash.
Devonport are missing Jack Dance, of course, after he
broke his leg against Launceston City in the Lakoseljac Cup game.
Devonport goalkeeper Nathan Pitchford is in outstanding
form and his presence is a huge bonus for the visitors, who will be intent on
atoning for the cup defeat.

Not a bad double-header at South Hobart, Walter - Croatia, Olympia and Juventus... for 50c.
Great timing in the careers of Hallam, Tooze and Berezansky to have the opportunity to play alongside a striker of the caliber of Brennan. Where when and why a great forward moves is not something you get from a book. Good luck Andy, great to see you back at a club where you are a legend.
Thanks for placing NPL match fixtures here , Walter. There was nothing in The Mercury and I could not find the fixtures when I googled them.
It doesn't bode well for spectator numbers when it is hard to find out where and when NPL games are played.
