Warriors blew the knights away, take away knights penalty and there really wasn’t many chances for them to score. Credit to the warriors they have been unlucky to not get a draw here or there against one of the top 4 teams. They deserve this win.

Knights very poor, Olympia just wanted it more, quicker, more urgency, better skill, happy to actually shoot. well deserved win. I think Knights cant wait for this season to be over, revamp, get hold of a decent finisher, attacking midfielder and a top line keeper. I would think Sherman will stay but who knows.

Gee, I wonder what the $$ Odds were of that happening?

I’m not sure how many more midfielders can be squeezed into this knights squad tbh. A couple more wingers, maybe a full back, and yeah I agree, a striker, would be good. The back 6/7 were pretty good throughout the season but mostly toothless up front and struggled to retain possession in the front third. The lineup chopped and changed all season but the game plan was always the same. What I saw from watching a lot of games from knights: slow build up from the back (which allowed the opposition to get settled - which is fine if you can keep possession in your attacking half for longer than 2-3 passes and create chances through combination play) then back and side ways passes to the centre backs and to bowman who would then kick an aimless ball into the channel (“box em in!”) or to the top of the 18 yd box to forwards who rarely contested for possession. The opposition would 99% of the time win the aerial battle and then counter attack through the middle and get themselves a good chance. Rinse and repeat. Occasional bit of class through muller, undy, gory and harrison if he marauded forward, but usually their efforts would fizzle out once the ball was passed to Vincent, yost and the other forwards. They seemed to need everything on a plate to put effort in and either wouldn’t or haven’t been taught how to work off the ball for their teammates. Disappointing season for knights.
