What a great game, if not for that 1 minute lapse in concentration that cost Zebras 2 goals I thought they were the better of the two teams . I’m not a Zebras fan or either South Hobart but went along to watch with my sons for Father’s Day and had a good afternoon watching some good football by both sides .Very physical and attacking end to end stuff

Once again no one on the gate and no kiosk open. Souths home game and missing out again on a few extra dollars. Thanks for the bunch of interstate holiday makers having some fun and at least creating some atmosphere during the game. They also seemed to enjoy their half time kick about on the pitch. There were a few weird decisions by the ref but that is nothing unusual this year. Otherwise a bit of rough and tumble to enjoy!.

South must have enough money to survive or they would have organised a coffee van.
At least have someone on the gate to collect some cash but they obviously don't need it.
A couple of hundred people at $8 a pop is serious money.

Perhaps the South Hobart volunteers who normally man the gate and canteen were at Hobart Cup?

Anon 10.20 pm.
Perhaps they were.
Was the Hobart Cup on at other times during the season also?
They have never had the canteen open all year.

I have no idea as I haven’t attended any matches at South Hobart this year, it was merely a suggestion.

Anon said - 200 at a Souths game !!. I do remember that but it was not this year. There was someone on the gate at the Denonport game last week so maybe they can remember how many were there ?.
