Was at Darcy street today. No canteen open. Is this a breach of their NPL contract? Anyone know? I mean we travel all the way from Devonport and get too the ground and nothing. What is going on at the South Hobart Club?

Great shot of Nathan Reid, Walter

Breach of NPL contract...hilarious comment. They had their volunteers tied up with the Hobart Cup and canteens are all run by VOLUNTEERS. I notice you aren't complaining that there was no entry fee and you could have got off your arse and walked 100m down the road to the shop or very good cafe.

6:07pm

You do realise the The Hobart Cup was on as well, which is massive and run completely by volunteers from all clubs, which I am guessing meant no one was left to open the canteen. It was stated on South’s social media there would be no canteen. And for the record there is only cash sales today in the canteen at the state game. It’s a first world issue, next time bring a sandwich or do what we did at KGV, walked to the shop.

Feel sorry for you. Paid nothing to get in but still bitching and moaning. Don't bother coming back if it affects you so badly.

758am. You walked to the shop at kgv??? Really???..and to think the poster from Devonport at 607pm couldn't work out to do the same thing at Darcy Street. Must be a northwest coast thing.

The Kiosk / Canteen is part of the NPL contract.
