Cannot beleive Morton keeps playing Moncur. Nathan Reid would of been a better replacment and he would not of got beaten from 40 metres

Awesome win by the Olympia girls. Six of their starting line up from the winning 2020 premiership team have left, and the young girls that have cone into the team did them proud. Goes to show the depth of young talent that Olympia have. Also fantastic to see that Olivia, Sophie, Maddie B, Raiah, Caitlin and Maddie C have had their talent recognised and are taking their football to the next level either interstate or overseas. Good luck to them, to Jenna with her AFL career, and also to the Warriors for the 2021 season.

Good to see eagles on the up but I hope they don't defend like that all year otherwise it could be ugly. to allow the CB to carry the ball and also deliver crosses on the edge of the final third was nearly criminal. Just as well there was no quality in those crosses.
It could be a good year for Loins in the NPl. don't understand why Moncur is playing as to me it doesn't send the right message.
Olympia women's looked sharp up front and considering the players they have lost would be my favourites to win the WSL.

Did you watch the early game?

Reid had already played a very physical 120 minutes in the first game and played it well. Why would you risk the chance of a serious injury for the sake of The Summer Cup, which essentially is a practice match for the year ahead.

Good to see some new teams in the winners circle. Nice to see Lions win their 1st ever NPL prize. The season ahead offers lots of intrigue. Let's hope it plays out that way.

No. Did you?

The day was flat is this the best Football Tas can dish up with all their event staff ?

It is clear that the mighty Knights will win the league and cup this year.

Poor game for a final. South started well but then as they began missing chances they seemed to drop their bundle. Should have started with Feral. He is their most experienced player and not good enough ? Maybe their coaches, the wily one and so-called genius are not what some think they are?
South coaches lost that game in my opinion. They were already 2 down when Feral was introduced with 20-25 mins to go. Was he expected to setup 2 goals or score 2 goals in that time in order to go to extra time ? Big mistake. If South werent concerned about winning the final and wanted the young ones to experience a final , then fair enough , but I doubt that was the case.

KGV pitch is appalling. The whole facility likes tired and haggard.

The final/s should've been played at Lightwood or South Hobart on grass.

Glad to see Eagles show South how to sing the song!

I can't see South winning a title or a cup for that manner in the next 2 years. Kenny's grip has loosened on being the dominant club. Which I think is good for the competition. I hope Knights & Loins can really give Devonport a run for their money.

The bonus foe white Eagles is they played like shit and still won. I remember watching them play Hobart united last year at KGV and were absolutely dominant with the style of play, the intense pressing was a highlight. if they play like that this year with the additions they have acquired they should win the league

How do you come to that conclusion? They didn't even play in the finals?

Good luck to Kingborough for winning but that South side was far from the strongest side they could field whereas not sure the same could be said for the Lions.

Either way I shouldn’t think Devonport will. be losing any sleep over the apparent Lions challenge think they’ll be lucky to make the top 3 based on that very average style of game they play then again sometimes ugly wins the day as we saw on the weekend
