Devonport's title unless something miraculous happens. I like the look of the southern Champ ladder not much separating the top five sides. a couple of weeks ago warriors were on top with Uni second but how this has changed in a short period of time. I would have Hobart United as favourites with Taroona a close second. Unsure about New town as it's been a long time since they challenged for a title.
Walter can you tell us about South beating Uni. This is a real upset and could even cost Uni the title. Wow 4-0.
@Anon 9.12 South played out of their skins and took the four good chances that fell their way. Uni had almost a dozen good chances including a penalty saved and numerous one on ones all foiled by Moncur or just wide. Moncur man of the match, great performance from him. But South were well worth their win, they had a great game and played some great stuff. I'm not sure if it will cost a title, each team in the top 5 can win it from here. May the best team win!
Not sure how you can have Taroona as second favourite to win. Four points behind New Town with one round to go.
I think you mean HAS cost them the title.
Lots of injuries in Championship now making a difference.
@Anon 2.54am, the southern championship has 1 round to go PLUS 5 round robin matches between the top 6 teams.. so it is still anyones ball game.
Brennan needs to go back to the bench ..... he’s suffocating the young kids and providing very little to the team .... numerous times he had opportunities to play in the young forwards but thought it better to take on two or three defenders and turn it over .... perhaps he should try being a mentor / role model and not a star .... better still play him in Centre back South sure need some help there not up forward
He's been very poor. He will be lucky to get a game in Vic next season if the coach has been watching

I believe the bottom 6 will also have a 5 game round robin too.
He seems like he's on holiday, not at South to play football... Surely Ken can see that Andy is not playing anywhere near the level he used to be.
Agree with the above comments, look at what players like Holden,Stone & Sanders produced when they returned from the Mainland compared to what Brennen has done. Big let down
Well I guess I gotta admit it for a change , the boys David Smith has fielded the last couple of games have really stood up for him , the young guys are improving week by week and Riley Dillon is standing up as a great role model for them and has been outstanding recently so good luck to them all
The points are kept. So not anyone's ball game.
Only Newtown, Hobart, taroona or Olympia can win it now.
I would actually like too see New Town win. They have made their way back after many years rebuilding. They have done what Clarence couldn't do and that's survive.
They may have no youth but I think that will happen in the next couple of years as they are now a stable club off the field.

And why can't Uni win?
11;14am Uni will have beat New Town if they are going to win the title as if they don't they will be too far of the pace.

So, Uni can still win it, yes?
