The semi-finals of the Division One section of the Summer Cup competition are scheduled to be played at North Chigwell on Sunday.
At noon, the Tasmanian Institute of Sport take on Beachside, while at 2pm, Metro clash with Hobart United.
Beachside will miss their talisman Colin Shepherd, who is suffering back spasms.
They will also be without tough defender Ben Davis, who has work commitments.
Tony Ortuso, Andrew Reason and Adam Direen will come into the squad.
“It should be a game of two contrasting styles,” said Beachside player-coach, Nathan Robinson.
“TIS are a young, energetic team, while at Beachside we will have to use our experience, try to keep possession and dictate the play.
“It will be a game that will obviously benefit both teams and over the now 90 minutes format will provide us with good preparation for the league season starting on the 27th March.”
They may also have goalkeeping worries with Tristan Prendergast having coming off with a knee injury towards the end of last week’s match.
This could mean another young keeper taking his place, as per the side that played against South Hobart reserves on Wednesday evening, or coach Dean May playing.
Metro will include Trent Delaney and Wade Hawkins in their squad for the clash with Hobart United.
Both games should be close and extra-time and penalty shoot-outs are possibilities.
South Hobart meet Ulverstone in the final of the Steve Hudson Cup in Launceston on Sunday.
Shae Hickey, who has an ankle injury, may start for South after being left out of the side for South’s opening southern Premier League match against Tilford Zebras on Saturday evening at KGV Park.
South should pick up their second trophy of the season by downing surprise-packet Ulverstone.
South’s resources are such that they should be able to front up for their second game in less than 24 hours and win this northern trophy to add to the southern Summer Cup that they won last Saturday.

Great to see Adam Direen included in the squad after leading the Div 1 Reserves goal scoring charts last season, including 10 in the one game! And the trick ability of Andrew Reason will be an extra dimension for the TIS to contend with.
Andrew Reason? Terrible footballer, nice bloke.
Isnt Andrew Reason known as lump? That guy is very good player.
Adam Direen included! must be a pie eating comp
Metro to beat Hobart United 3-1..Beachside to beat TIS 2-0
Dont discount TIS against Beachside..they can definitely outrun those old legs at Beachside!!
Metro vs HUFC should be a good battle..but I reckon Metro will get the win.
hobart have done it before so they will do it again this sunday!
hobart united to smash an overated metro 3-0 metro dont have much and havent played anyone yet.
why would Metro be overated?
Who really rates them?
You're right they haven't played anyone, and they don't have their Scottish Saviours!!!
Walter, Declan Foley served his one match suspension on Wednesday night so is available to play against Beahside.
Hobart would not be able to cope with Metro's physical game surely
Dont discount Hobart United..Broadbent with the help of Edy Mohammad and some other coach there seems to have the club going again.
Beachside might suffer the absences of Sheppard and Davis..pity out of 4 teams only Beachside bothers give Walter a preview of the match! c'mon Div 1 clubs!lift your game and help lift the profile of the league..not too hard!
Anonymous (8.42pm), thanks for that. Preview amended accordingly. Cheers!
