Mixed beginnings for Tassie under-age sides


Tasmania’s under-15 representative team lost their opening match 1-0 to Northern New South Wales at the Australian national championships in Coffs Harbour.


Tasmania did well but ultimately succumbed to a penalty.


Tasmania won their second game 7-0 against Northern Territory, after leading 5-o at half-time.


The scorers were Eli Luttmer, Alex Nandan, Patrick Lanau-Atkinson, Ben Watkins, Elliott Lovell, Brady Kronk and Declan Foley.


The Tasmanian under-14s lost their opening fixture 5-1 to Northern New South Wales.


In their second game, Tasmania beat Country Queensland 3-1 through goals by Fionn Collin, Daniel McGinn and Jim Eagles.
